BioMaat (pronounced Mah-aht)is an Egyptian Goddess who stands for truth, justice, righteousness balance and reciprocity. Her symbol is the balance scales and the Ostrich feather. It's said that upon your death, you face Maat and your heart is weighed against the Ostrich feather. If you've led a fulfilling life, then your heart is light and the feather will be heavier. You then are allowed to enter heaven. If your heart is heavy and outweighs the feather, you've lived a life where you caused suffering and therefore you heart is laden with guilt and you will be cast into Hell.
I mention this because I like the concept and I am into mythology; no, I don't sit a judge people with scales and a feather, but I do seek wisdom, I do seek truth, and so... I guess that's a little about me. =)
